Fishing is bouncing, stomping and sparkling, tactile, joyous and woozy. The Sydney beat-making duo formed in 2010 and have already spread melodic and playful jams at home and abroad after being featured on the Fbi radio beforecast and the Pitchfork forkcast. Fishing blend samples, synths and percussion to create catchy electronic, instrumental pop fuelled by skittering beats, dated organic sounds and computer game soundtracks. Live is booty thumpin’, melodic landscapery and super-high trout jumps, it’s like “your hand is in a toaster, but you’re also catching a lovely breeze from the ocean.”
